I drove up there with my friend Storm and her mum Kathy. I was only 15 at the time. We went up there for a week and stayed in a motel called “Miami Shore Motel”. It was pretty nice and big but there was really no personal space in there, as everything was all just an L shaped room except for the bathroom. Also on the second night there, I had a shower and it flooded out the whole bathroom, so from that point on, I made Storm or Kathy turn on the shower for me haha. On the first day, it was really, really nice weather so we decided to go to Movie World. It was awesome. Really hot day, and the rides were amazing. I had so much fun. Then at about 1.00pm, it started pouring down and became really, really cold. Storm and I had dressed for warm weather so we had to go buy batman jumpers, which I no longer have because one of my old friends borrowed it and never gave it back. After our day, we went shopping and bought lots of things to eat.. like 2 minute noodles and microwave cheeseburgers, which was a lot of fun because we never had to waste our time cooking dinner or anything. The next couple of days we spent it at the shopping centres with Storm’s old friends from QLD, who were really nice. On the third day when we were with her friend Owen, we went to the movies to see Avatar. It was pretty awesome. At night, we’d go exploring while Storm’s mum spoke to the guy she was seeing. We went for heaps of walks along the beach, or just exploring the motel (which was tiny), and we wouldn’t get back until very late. All in all, it was a really good week and I’d love to go back and do it again and visit more theme parks with a bunch of friends. It would be amazing. I’ll upload some of the photos from the week.

Travelling is the only thing I’ve ever been sure that I’m going to do. I thought that it would be a cute little idea to create a blog filled with my travels, in my own country, Australia, or overseas. I haven’t really travelled yet, but I’d absolutely adore to be able to go right now.
This blog will probably be pictures I’ve taken of my travels and posts of when I’m there. I hope you all find it as interesting as possible, and enjoy it. I honestly love following travelling blogs because they make me want to visit places I’d never even considered going before.
